KISS Gene Simmons has Musk and Trump’s phone numbers
The Rock Star’s Contacts: Gene Simmons Claims He Has Musk and Trump in His Phone
When you talk about celebrity, fame, and influence, you often think of movie stars or music legends. But sometimes, the most famous people are the ones whose phone contacts hold the most intrigue. Rock icon Gene Simmons, the legendary bassist and co-founder of KISS, recently opened up about his surprisingly high-profile phone book, revealing that some of his most significant contacts include titans of the tech and political worlds.
The revelation surfaced during a recent interview with the podcast Hollywood Raw, where Simmons was asked about the most famous people in his phone contacts. Instead of listing musicians or movie stars, Simmons pointed to some names that immediately sparked curiosity: Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
Simmons suggested that possessing the numbers of such globally recognized figures made him, in his view, “kind of a big deal.” The casual delivery of this claim perfectly captures the surreal nature of having figures like Musk and Trump as contacts in the same address book as a rock royalty.
This anecdote isn’t just a lighthearted boast; it touches on the bizarre intersection between celebrity culture, wealth, and political power. For Simmons, who has built a career on spectacle and performance, having direct access to the digital footprint of figures shaping modern commerce and politics adds a whole new layer to his public persona.
It’s a reminder that even in the hyper-connected world of social media and digital communication, the most compelling stories often come from the unexpected places—like a rock star sharing a secret about his phone. The story of Gene Simmons’ contacts proves that sometimes, the most powerful connections are found in the most unexpected places.
