King Diamond splits from Andy LaRocque

As for the guitar chair, stability is quickly being established. King Diamond has warmly welcomed Gus G.—known for his work with Firewind and Ozzy Osbourne—as the new guitarist. This transition comes with an exciting promise: Gus will continue pursuing all of his current projects, ensuring that the musical legacy continues to roar.

King Diamond expressed immense enthusiasm for this change, noting that LaRocque is still free to pursue his solo projects and work with other bands. He emphasized that the focus remains on creating new music: “We are already working with Gus and I simply can’t wait for you to hear all the new King Diamond music with him playing guitar on it!”
