KATSEYE perform on SNL and Dream Academy parody

The television world buzzed with energy last night as the 52nd season premiere of SNL delivered a night packed with celebrity performances and sports-infused comedy.

The show kicked off with a stellar lineup, featuring King of New York Jalen Brunson anchoring the host role. Adding a vibrant musical dimension, the group KATSEYE took center stage as the musical guests, bringing their energetic tracks “Hootie Frutti” and “Animal” to the cast.

The humor didn’t stop there. In the cold open, a familiar face returned to the stage as Ramy Youssef, playing the role of Zohran Mamdani, adding another layer of entertainment to the premiere.

Beyond the musical acts and comedic cameos, the premiere also served as a platform for NBA stars. The Knicks starting five made an appearance, joining Brunson in his monologue. This group included Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Josh Hart, bringing their star power into the heart of the show.
