Jenny Lewis’ Epic Live Reunion Shows
The noise makers are back. After a decade of silence, the trio of Jenny Lewis, Erika Spring, and Tennessee Thomas are reuniting for a limited 10th-anniversary celebration, bringing their iconic sound, Nice As Fuck, back to the stage. This reunion isn’t just a nostalgic trip; it’s a vibrant return to the raw, spontaneous energy that defined their self-titled debut album released in 2016.
The original record stands as a wonderfully scrappy collision of musicians who embraced revolution and the sheer pleasure of making noise together. Now, as the ethos of “The solution is revolution / Kill ’em with love” feels timely, the band is delivering a powerful message that resonates with a new generation.
The celebration kicks off with an eight-date tour, starting October 16th in Los Angeles at Sid the Cat. The journey will sweep across the West Coast before heading east, culminating in a memorable closing night on October 29th at Brooklyn’s Xanadu Roller Arts. Adding to the excitement, the tour will feature the dynamic presence of DJ Alix Brown.
To enhance the experience, the Nice As Fuck self-titled LP is making a triumphant return. Fans will have the opportunity to hear the music live while also acquiring the long-out-of-print debut album, which will be available at the shows and online.
This musical homecoming adds another chapter to Lewis’ recent willingness to revisit her past, highlighting a sustained appetite for connecting with the roots of her artistic journey. It proves that some sounds, once unleashed, are destined to remain unforgettable.
