JAŸ-Z recants sexual assault claims denies meeting Mr Carter

A high-profile legal dispute involving celebrity figures has taken an unexpected turn as a woman who filed an accusation against JAŸ-Z and Diddy has recanted her claims.

The matter began in 2024 when an anonymous woman filed a lawsuit against the music mogul and his associates, alleging that she was sexually assaulted by them at a party in 2000 when she was just thirteen.

However, the narrative surrounding the case has dramatically shifted. The accuser has subsequently filed a 12-page court declaration, publicly claiming that her original allegations were false and revealing inconsistencies in her story.

In her declaration, the woman asserted that she has never met or spoken to JAŸ-Z, and that the claims against him were untrue. She further detailed that she had disclosed certain mental health conditions to her legal team at the time of filing the lawsuit, adding context to her legal process.

This retraction comes amidst a complex legal landscape. Last March, the Roc Nation mogul filed a countersuit, asserting that the accuser’s allegations were both false and malicious.

The story of the dispute also involves recent legal maneuvers. The accuser had previously dropped her lawsuit in January 2025, stating that she began to doubt her claims against JAŸ-Z and admitted that she had attended parties with celebrities, which directly contradicted her initial testimony.

The situation further intersected with related legal actions. JAŸ-Z had also dropped an extortion case against celebrity lawyer Tony Buzbee and his Texas law firm.

Buzbee, who represented the accuser in the case, commented on the development, noting that he had worked with the accuser and her team for a long time. He indicated that the current claim of lying to the court represented new information that had not been present previously.
