Wimbledon-born songwriter Jamie T is embarking on a journey into the past with his sixth studio album, Ghosts (100 Days Of Morning), set to arrive on October 9 via Polydor Records. This 11-track effort isn’t just a collection of songs; it’s an honest confrontation with memory, the passage of time, and the nostalgic pull of the ‘00s indie era.
The album explores the idea of confronting the parts of ourselves we tend to keep at arm’s length, examining the memories that linger and the emotional residue left behind. Jamie T describes the project as an attempt to see a previously hidden version of himself and hold onto it, making the themes of loss and remembrance central to the musical landscape.
The lead single, “3310”—a nod to the infamous Nokia phone—serves as an immediate preview of the record. The track is accompanied by a visually striking video directed by Rob Thorogood, which captures a wistful mood, filmed beautifully at the seaside.
