Jai Alai IPA x Raise the Stage: 3rd & Lindsley

In the vibrant ecosystem of North American music, the venues that host the show are the unsung heroes. They are the crucibles where future superstars are forged, and the heartbeat of regional music scenes thrives in their walls. A new initiative is shining a spotlight on this essential infrastructure through the Raise The Stage series.

This compelling series of micro-documentaries partners the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) with Jai Alai IPA, the flagship beer brand from Cigar City Brewing, to explore the profound impact of independent music venues across the continent.

The project’s mission is clear: to showcase how these spaces don’t just host concerts, but actively launch careers, build communities, and ensure the long-term sustainability of regional music culture.

The inaugural episode dives into the buzzing energy of Music City, focusing on the legendary 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville. As Talent Buyer Chris Cobb notes, “In a city like Music City, there’s nothing as important to our ecosystem as independent venues like 3rd & Lindsley. This is where tomorrow’s superstars cut their teeth, where they learn their craft, where they refine their show.”

By pairing venue operators with artists who share a meaningful connection to the space, each episode offers a rich exploration of the symbiotic relationship between the venue and the music it nurtures.

This effort is part of a broader music-focused platform known as Jai Fidelity, aimed at connecting the brand with the live music culture and passionate fan communities.

Beyond the video series, the partnership extends to tangible support. Jai Alai IPA will also serve as the title sponsor of a new NIVA marketing grant. This grant is specifically designed to help independent venues strengthen their local awareness, boost audience engagement, and ensure their long-term viability.

Through Raise The Stage, the story of independent venues is not just a documentary; it is a celebration of the foundational role these spaces play in keeping the creative spirit of live music alive and thriving.
