Hillside Festival 2026 Sells Out with Angine de Poitrine, Mae Martin & Hollerado

For the first time since 2012, Guelph’s annual Hillside Festival has achieved a staggering sellout. This remarkable milestone signals that the festival is not just an event in Guelph, but a deeply cherished cultural anchor for the community.

The success of the 2026 edition speaks volumes about the quality of the programming and the passionate support for the music scene. The lineup has been bolstered by exciting talent, including early-selection viral duo Angine de Poitrine, along with artists like Mae Martin, Stars, and Hollerado.

The achievement was celebrated by the festival leadership. Kate Johnston, Executive Director of Hillside Festival, called the sellout an “incredible milestone.” She noted that seeing every ticket claimed before the festival begins is a powerful testament to the community’s passion and the dedication of hundreds of volunteers, staff, artists, and supporters.

The festival truly shines by offering a diverse tapestry of talent. The 2026 lineup boasts an impressive roster of acts, including Austra, Bye Parula, Charlotte Cornfield, Cowboy Junkies, the Darcys, and influential figures such as Donovan Woods, Ebril, Electric Religious, and Tiken Jah Fakoly.

The roster also features a wide range of unique acts, including Elida Almeida, the Free Label, Foundation Steppas, Gord Grdina’s Haram, Housewife, James Keelaghan, and more.

From the viral sensations to established acts, the festival provides a full experience. It also features showcases like the Girls & Guitars Showcase, the Eramosa Sessions II, JamSchool Youth Showcase, and the University of Guelph Music Showcase, ensuring there is something for every musical taste.
