Hear the Title Track from Mei Semones’ New Album Howl
Mei Semones is officially on the ascent, trading the indie fringes for the big leagues, and the momentum is palpable. Last year, she made a significant splash with her debut album Animaru, earning critical recognition that led to her being named an Artist To Watch. That initial spark of idiosyncratic talent has now ignited a major career leap.
Now, the focus shifts entirely to her forthcoming work. Semones has announced her next major project, the album Howl, marking a compelling evolution of her unique sound. This new offering is not just a creative step; it represents a substantial shift in her career trajectory.
The most exciting development is the label change. Howl is set to be released on Verve/Interscope, placing Semones under the umbrella of a major industry powerhouse. This move is a significant stride, especially considering her previous association with Bayonet, signaling a major professional elevation.
The buzz is already building, with the title track from Howl officially available for listeners to dive into. It’s a powerful demonstration that Semones is ready for the spotlight, proving that her unique perspective deserves to be heard on a much grander stage. The arrival of Howl confirms that the ascent is well deserved.
