Hear Cell Rot’s new album Paradise/Parasite II
Oakland’s fast and nasty hardcore force, Cell Rot, is gearing up for a sonic deep dive, releasing the second half of a ambitious, two-part project. Last year, the band dropped the album Parasite, which served as the opening salvo in a collaboration with the legendary punk and metal producer, Jack Shirley.
Now, they are set to unveil the second volume, Paradise, continuing the intense thematic exploration that began with the first release. The upcoming material is already generating buzz, particularly through their lead single, “Paradise/Parasite II,” which immediately establishes a striking relationship between the two concepts.
