Hannah Georgas and Lyn Heinemann Announce Tour and Debut Album
When music is born from a deep, trusted connection, it often has the most resonant sound. That’s the story behind So Faint, a new musical venture born from the collaboration between longtime friends Hannah Georgas and Lyn Heinemann.
Having previously hinted at their collaboration, the duo is now ready to share their debut self-titled album, which will arrive on October 16 through Georgas’s newly founded label, Beetle Bomb Records. Georgas explained that the decision to form the group stemmed from a desire to create something deeply personal, working with a team she knew and trusted to craft a truly authentic sound.
“I’ve watched how music gets released change so much since I first started out,” Georgas shared. “For me, it felt exciting to build a team I really know and trust and create something that feels personal. I just want to put this music out into the world, and I’m excited for people to hear it.”
The sound of So Faint already captivates with their forthcoming single, “Fully Slow.” This track immediately dives into the complex emotional landscape of wanting a connection that might never materialize. Heinemann captured the essence of the song, describing the feeling as wanting someone who will never want you back, yet still fantasizing that they do. It explores those internalized, intense crushes—the storyline we construct in our minds without ever taking a single action.
The sophisticated sound of “Fully Slow” was expertly crafted with professional polish, featuring production by Sean Sroka, engineering by Graham Walsh, and mixing by Alex Farrar. The album promises a full journey, with tracks like “Begin Again,” “Chain Chain Chain,” and “Dreamlike” adding to the emotional tapestry of their debut.
