Guests at Shakira’s Madrid Residency
The excitement is palpable in Madrid, where global superstar Shakira is delivering an unforgettable musical residency. Kicking off her run on September 18, this 12-concert series is part of the larger Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, taking place from September 18 through October 11.
Even in the opening days, the atmosphere was electric. While the first two nights showcased Shakira’s incredible talent, they were packed with high-energy performances. Tracks like “Girl Like Me”, “Te Felicito”, “TQG”, “Soltera”, and “Hips Don’t Lie” kept the stadium singing at full volume. The setlist also featured a fresh addition, “Te Dejo Madrid”, adding a unique flavor to the residency.

The tour itself has already achieved massive milestones. Prior to the residency, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour secured a Guinness World Record, earning the title for the highest-grossing tour of all time by a Hispanic artist, accumulating $421.6 million across 86 shows.
Reflecting on the experience so far, Shakira shared her gratitude on Instagram, emphasizing the incredible energy of the run. “We’re halfway through our residency! 6 concerts in total, and each one has had an incredible energy. It’s impossible to say which of the 6 has been the best; they’ve all been absolutely spectacular. Thank you, Madrid, for being with me!” the global superstar wrote.
