Fontaines D.C. expands 2027 tour to Italy and Germany
The critical buzz surrounding Irish indie sensation Fontaines D.C. is heating up, with the band confirming a stretch of major European gigs set for 2027. Following a highly successful run, the group is gearing up for a new chapter, taking their acclaimed sound on a massive continental stage.
This summer outdoor run will serve as a powerful continuation of their momentum, building directly on the success of their 2026 UK and European arena tour. The groundwork was laid with their fifth album, ‘Dopamine Chamber’, released on October 16 via XL Recordings, which continues to resonate with audiences and critics alike.
Now, with support from Grian Chatten, the band has slotted in an extra five high-profile dates across Italy and Germany, promising a truly continental experience. The tour kicks off in Rome, where Fontaines D.C. will headline Rock In Roma on June 18, before moving on to Milan the following day for a headline slot at I-Days on June 19.
The momentum doesn’t stop there. The band will then venture into Germany, starting with a major appearance at the Sparda-Bank Arena in Hamburg on August 11. This is followed by stops in Munich at the Olympiahalle on August 17, and finally, a grand finale in Berlin at the Parkbühne Wuhlheide on August 18.
These dates signal an ambitious plan for 2027, placing the band firmly in front of a diverse European audience. The schedule is packed, offering a chance to experience the raw energy that has defined their work.
Beyond the live performances, the band has been teasing the forthcoming material, offering fans glimpses into the sound of ‘Dopamine Chamber’. They recently previewed the album with the atmospheric lead single, ‘Marianne’, which has already garnered attention. Furthermore, recent shows have featured exciting unreleased tracks, including ‘Six Shot Morning’ and ‘Happy For You’, adding depth to their live setlists.
