Fieldy and Head Reunite Onstage for Korn
The heavy, unforgettable sound of Korn made a triumphant return to the stage this past Saturday in Boise, Idaho, as long-time bandmates Fieldy and Brian “Head” Welch finally reunited onstage after a five-year hiatus.
The moment the two musicians took the stage, the energy was palpable, bridging the gap between a memorable past and a vibrant present. This reunion was more than just a performance; it felt like a powerful acknowledgment of the deep, enduring bond that exists within the Korn family.
The pause between their appearances was significant. Fieldy had previously played with the band during an early 2021 livestream performance before stepping away. In June of that same year, Fieldy announced a hiatus from Korn, signaling a period of reflection for the musician.
That break allowed for new chapters to unfold, but the pull of the original sound remained strong. Seeing Fieldy and Welch back together on stage allowed audiences to witness a moment of reconnection, celebrating the legacy of Korn while embracing the shared history that binds these artists.
