Faith No More announce first shows in 11 years

For a moment, it seemed impossible: the once-mighty titans of alternative metal, Faith No More, would ever step back onto the stage together again. Yet, fate, in the form of music and memory, has repeatedly delivered these unlikely reunions.

The band experienced a significant break in their history when they initially split in 1998. However, the magic never truly ended. A triumphant reunion took place in 2009, leading to six years of shared touring before they released the acclaimed 2015 album, Sol Invictus.

But even these musical milestones are not without their poignant gaps. For many years afterward, the iconic frontman Mike Patton remained absent from the band’s live performances.

The band’s recent activity has pivoted toward honoring the history of the group through new connections. More recently, the stage has been graced by special reunions featuring original singer Chuck Mosely. This latest chapter, however, came with a heavy emotional weight, as Mosely passed away shortly after these shared performances.

While the music continues to resonate, these fleeting moments serve as powerful reminders of the enduring legacy and the bittersweet nature of musical history. The story of Faith No More remains one of incredible artistic power, filled with both triumphant comebacks and profound losses.
