Face to Face Celebrates Three Decades of Sound with Nostalgic Tour

As the music world celebrates milestones, so do some of the legends who define it. The rock outfit Face to Face is hitting the road this year, marking their impressive 35th anniversary with a tour packed not just with new energy, but deep-cut nostalgia. This isn’t just another concert series; it’s a journey back to the foundational sounds that built their reputation.

For this special run, the band is pulling from the treasures of their 1997 live album, bringing fans along for a sonic flashback. The setlist is a masterful mix, drawing heavily from the tracks across their first three studio albums—including Don’t Turn Away (1992), Big Choice (1995), and the self-titled album from 1996—alongside material from their 1994 EP, Over It. To round out this retrospective, they are also including a killer cover of Social Distortion’s “Telling Them,” adding an extra layer of iconic grit to the performance.

The nostalgia is only half the party; the supporting acts lined up for the tour are equally electrifying. The band has curated a lineup of stellar groups, varying based on location, ensuring a unique atmosphere at every stop. For example, the Nashville show on September 19th will feature Unwritten Law, Down By Law, and Tombstonehead.

Headlining other dates, the Sayreville, NJ performance on October 9th promises an equally intense evening, featuring The Movielife, Deadguy, and The Take. Meanwhile, the Chicago stop on December 12th will bring in heavy hitters like Sparta, Sludgeworth, and The Bollweevils.
