Echo & The Bunnymen announce 2026 winter UK tour
The enduring magic of Echo & The Bunnymen is gearing up for another spectacular journey, announcing a series of winter tour dates across the United Kingdom. Fans of the band are set to experience their music in venues from Cardiff to Coventry, marking a compelling chapter in their storied history.
This upcoming trek builds upon the excitement generated by their latest work, following the release of their first new album in twelve years, Apples For Isaac. The new material offers a fresh perspective, continuing the band’s tradition of crafting emotionally resonant and atmospheric rock.
The creative momentum behind this announcement is deeply entwined with the band’s legacy. The album itself features contributions from late drummer Clem Burke, who was integral to the record, highlighting the irreplaceable nature of the musical family they share. It is a reminder that the history and the creative output of the group are built on the foundations of exceptional talent.
As the tour unfolds, it brings with it a rich tapestry of memories. The band has navigated personal challenges and professional milestones, including the profound loss of Burke during the album’s completion, underscoring the emotional weight behind their performances.
The itinerary promises a diverse range of venues, kicking off in November with a performance at Cardiff’s Tramshed on November 9, followed by stops in Eastbourne, Southampton, Wolverhampton, Middlesbrough, Holmfirth, and Coventry. This route will allow audiences across the UK to witness the Bunnymen’s signature sound in a variety of celebrated locations.
For those eager to secure their places, general ticket sales will go on sale at 10am BST this Thursday (September 24). Fans can find all the specific dates and purchase tickets through the official channels.
The upcoming tour is more than just a concert series; it is a celebration of enduring artistry and unforgettable sound. It offers a chance to reconnect with the iconic sound of Echo & The Bunnymen as they embark on this vibrant winter adventure.
