Earth Altar announces new album Hawk and Swan plus Canadian Tour

When you dive into the vastness of human experience, you find echoes of history, mythos, and relentless storytelling. This is the kind of profound landscape that the space-rock duo Earth Alter has been exploring, and they are now ready to share it with the world on their forthcoming full-length album, Hawk and Swan.

Marking a significant milestone in their journey, the new record will be released on September 4th via Black Throne Records. The creative process behind Hawk and Swan was a patient unfolding. Drummer Jon Maclsaac shared that they began writing the record nearly four years ago, using that time to explore and expand their sonic palette as a dynamic two-piece. Bassist Spencer Trout noted that the music is constantly growing, changing its structure, and deepening its meaning with every iteration.

This dedication to evolving sound ensures that each track feels like a piece of living history—complex, layered, and deeply resonant. The initial single, “Red Eye,” set the stage for this exploration, but the full album offers an even richer narrative tapestry.

The adventure kicks off with an album release show at Winnipeg’s Sidestage on September 4th, followed by a dynamic run through Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, and Chilliwack.
