Down with Webster hosts Karaoke Championship in Toronto
Ready to dust off those vocal cords and relive the golden era of Canadian radio? Down With Webster is bringing the party to Toronto this September with a karaoke night dedicated to the anthems that defined the late 2000s and 2010s. If you’re a fan of CanCon hits and possess the vocal chops to deliver them, this event is tailor-made for you.
Mark your calendars for September 15th, when fans can take center stage and sing along with their favorite tracks live at the Monarch Tavern in Toronto. It promises to be a night of nostalgic singalongs, where the soundtrack of a recent decade comes alive on the stage.
The setlist isn’t limited to the biggest hits, however. Participants will have the chance to perform their favorite deep cuts and B-sides, allowing for a richer, more personalized musical journey for all attendees. Looking for a specific track? You can send your playlist requests directly to dwwkaraoke@gmail.com to help curate the perfect evening.
Entry will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis for the initial 120 attendees at the door, with a manageable $20 admission fee. This setup ensures that the energy stays high and the experience remains exclusive for those who arrive promptly.
Beyond the main event, the community is gearing up for some friendly competition. DWW is inviting all participants to RSVP for their karaoke championship on Partiful, encouraging everyone to bring their A-game and prove they are the reigning vocal champions of the night.
