Deen Castronovo’s Full Journey Show After Emergency
The stage lights fade, but the story of resilience continues. Just two nights after facing a medical emergency, drummer Deen Castronovo was back on stage, kicking off the next leg of the band’s tour.
The event that sparked the concern occurred during Journey’s performance in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Midway through the show, Castronovo required immediate medical attention and was rushed to the hospital.
That medical scare left a significant pause, but it did not stop the music. A short time later, Castronovo returned to the spotlight, taking center stage for the band’s subsequent concert in San Antonio on Saturday.
This swift return to performance speaks volumes about the enduring spirit of the musician and the unwavering power of live music. Facing such a challenge and immediately pivoting back to the stage demonstrates a remarkable capacity for recovery and an absolute dedication to the art they create.
