Chappell Roan taps Tinashe and Lola Young for LGBTQ+ support
Pop sensation Chappell Roan is turning queer joy into a breathtaking spectacle, launching a major fundraising effort that celebrates community, artistry, and visibility. She is bringing together a dazzling lineup for the Super Graphic Spectacular, a two-night event set to take place at Los Angeles’ Shrine on October 21 and 22, 2026.
This isn’t just a concert; it’s a vibrant convergence of performance art, live music, and community engagement, all dedicated to supporting the Midwest Princess Project. The Spectacular serves as the flagship fundraiser for Roan’s nonprofit initiative, which is committed to supporting trans youth and the wider LGBTQ+ community.
The event promises an unforgettable experience, weaving together established talent and boundary-pushing performers. The bill includes established artists like Caroline Polachek, Lola Young, MUNA, and Tinashe, alongside a diverse array of drag, burlesque, and circus performers. The roster also features notable figures such as Amanda Lepore, Blaine Petrovia, Kyra Jeté, Alisa Mae, Fantasia Royale Gaga, and Sweaty Eddie, all set to be guided by comedian Caleb Hearon.
Beyond the main two-night event, Roan is also hosting the Super Graphic Block Party, a daytime gathering in the West Lot outside the Shrine. This family-friendly event will run from 1 to 4 p.m., offering tickets for $15. This block party features drag performances, food trucks, vendors, nonprofit booths, and ticket giveaways, with all net proceeds directly benefiting the Midwest Princess Project.
The Spectacular is a powerful vehicle for change, demonstrating the immense impact of community-focused art. The organization has already amassed more than $800,000 through donations and proceeds from Roan’s earlier pop-up shows and the We Got You! Fund, which stems from her recognition at the 2024 Best New Artist Grammy ceremony, emphasizing healthcare access and sustainable livelihoods for artists.
The two-night spectacular will reach a crescendo with a special closing performance from Roan and her collaborators, marking the first anniversary of the Midwest Princess Project. It is a testament to how music and performance can amplify vital messages, ensuring that queer joy continues to shine brightly through meaningful action.
