Cage The Elephant announce 2027 Dying In Reverse tour

Cage The Elephant Announces ‘Dying In Reverse‘ Tour, Marking a New Chapter

The dynamic band Cage The Elephant is gearing up for a major international adventure, announcing their Dying In Reverse tour, which will bring their sound across the UK and Europe in 2027. This massive run signals a return to the stage, built on a foundation of personal evolution and renewed artistic fire.

The tour dates kick off in February 2027 with a splash across the continent, beginning in Berlin and extending through Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and France. The itinerary includes a major six-date run across the UK, starting in Cardiff and culminating in a spectacular performance at London’s Alexandra Palace in March 2027.

Beyond the stage, the announcement carries significant weight, rooted in the band’s recent musical journey. This new tour follows the release of their single Beaches In Tennessee, marking a fresh chapter for the group and a continuation of their evolution as artists. The momentum is particularly interesting given the personal stories shared by frontman Matt Schultz regarding his experiences and recovery.

Schultz has spoken openly about navigating severe mental health challenges, including a period of psychosis, and the subsequent legal difficulties he faced. He framed the experience not as a roadblock, but as a transformative event, describing his arrest as a miracle that ultimately saved his life.

“The arrest, without a doubt, was a miracle,” he shared, detailing the recovery process which included two months of hospitalization followed by six months of outpatient therapy. He reflected that while recovery is a lifelong process, he feels completely restored, emphasizing the importance of moving forward and not dwelling on past struggles.

This personal reflection parallels the band’s musical ambitions. Schultz noted that the experience of reinvention, spurred by past tours and artistic exploration, led to a powerful shift in their creative direction. He believes that the journey has allowed them to discover a new side to their band and achieve what he feels is the best music they have ever created, resulting in an incredibly inspired sound.

The band’s trajectory has been marked by periods of intense creative drive, notably after their special guest run on Oasis’ ‘Live ’25 tour’, which reignited their passion for dreaming and evolving. That experience pushed them straight back into the studio, fueling the creation of new material.

Fans can now secure their seats for this epic journey. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 am local time, with pre-sale options available on Wednesday. This is the moment to catch the band as they embark on their next great chapter.
