Get ready to crank the volume and prepare for a sonic onslaught, because the anticipation is building for the next massive heavy metal celebration. Welcome To Rockville is gearing up for its return, promising a four-day weekender of pure, unadulterated rock energy from May 6 to 9.
This year’s event is confirmed to be an absolute behemoth, featuring more than 150 confirmed artists ready to unleash their sound on the Daytona International Speedway. It’s more than just a festival; it’s a reunion of heavy music history and the electrifying energy of tomorrow.
The opening acts are already setting an incredibly high bar. The weekend kicks off with Korn taking the stage on Thursday, followed by Bad Omens bringing the heat on Friday. Saturday is set to feature Pierce The Veil, while the weekend wraps up with Blink-182 closing out the festivities on Sunday.
But the lineup is anything but predictable. Across the five stages, fans will be treated to a staggering array of talent, including legendary acts and rising stars. Special attention is being paid to reunions and anniversary celebrations that promise unforgettable moments.
Prepare for the heavy hitters, as Meshuggah will be performing as part of their 40th-anniversary North American tour, and Machine Head is making a US-exclusive appearance. Even rock royalty will be back in the arena: glam legends Skid Row will return after three years to celebrate their 40th anniversary, performing with their new vocalist, Justin Sargent.
The festival also marks a significant moment for established acts, including a return for Faith No More for their first North American show since their 2016 hiatus, alongside numerous other special sets that will define the weekend.
From the established titans like Alice In Chains and Judas Priest, to newer forces like uicideboy$”> and Ice Nine Kills, the diversity of the roster ensures there is something for every heavy music aficionado.
