BIGBANG 20 Year Concert: 13 Iconic Stadium Moments
The anniversary of a musical legacy is more than just a date on a calendar; it’s a global event. For BIGBANG, marking two decades of incredible artistry, the celebration took center stage with the XX : COSMOS World Tour, an epic journey that blended musical history with modern spectacle.
The tour reached a historic milestone by staging its first major show on the East Coast at MetLife Stadium. This performance provided a rare opportunity for the group’s core members—G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung—to perform together as a three-piece, a fact that unfolded into a truly unforgettable celebration.
The concert was a masterclass in musical storytelling, spanning roughly three hours and featuring thirty tracks that defined an era. The setlist expertly mixed era-defining K-pop anthems, such as “Fantastic Baby,” “Loser,” and “Bang Bang Bang,” with deeply personal solo showcases. The show was brought to life by a massive 23-ton mobile LED structure, designed by Tony and Olivier Award–winning designer Es Devlin. The sonic landscape was further amplified by a live band led by Wow Jones, whose extensive experience across artists like Usher, Rihanna, Janelle Monáe, and Sabrina Carpenter infused the performance with unparalleled energy.
The ‘XX : COSMOS’ tour was designed for global impact, launching from MetLife and continuing across the Atlantic to Paris’ Stade de France and London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. From there, the journey expanded across Asia and Oceania, culminating in a massive 36-show, 19-city run stretching into February 2027.
