Bastian Bux brings Petit Comité of House to NYC

New York dance culture has always been the epicenter of house music, and now, that vibrant legacy is ready for a homecoming. On July 17th, Spain’s versatile selector Bastian Bux is bringing his vision, Petit Comité of House, to the concrete landscape of New York City for its highly anticipated debut at H0L0 Yard in Ridgewood.

Petit Comité is more than just a series of parties; it represents a deliberate reaction against what Bux felt was missing in the genre. It is an invitation to a space built around music designed purely to be danced to, fostering an atmosphere focused on genuine connection rather than mere spectacle. This philosophy has already taken the project global, spanning Barcelona, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Miami, and Colombia, where it has brought joy and movement to over nine thousand attendees in 2025 alone.

The foundation of Petit Comité is rooted in core values: positivity, freedom, connection, and music that unites people. Bux sees the journey of bringing this concept across continents as a full circle, recognizing that the spirit of house music was forged in the streets of New York and thrives when those original values are upheld.

This mission extended beyond the nightlife, leading to the launch of a record label in 2025. The label quickly gained traction, releasing four tracks that shot into the Beatport Top 10, including anthems like “Good Things.” EPs such as Life in Circles and Only U further defined the soulful, direct sound of the project.

When Petit Comité arrives in New York, it promises a complete experience. Bux envisions a night where the finest classic and new house music blend seamlessly with a curated visual world and a lineup featuring some of the most exciting names in the US house scene. It is an immersion for any true house music lover.

The event is brought to life in partnership with Gray Area, whose founder Michael Julian champions artists who deliver meaningful visions while staying rooted in their communities. Julian views this collaboration as a perfect marriage between visionaries and promoters, excited to introduce the Petit Comité experience to New Yorkers and the broader Gray Area tribe.

The atmosphere of the night is intentionally immersive. Beyond the music, attention has been paid to every detail. Floral aesthetics are central to the visual identity, with arrangements decorating the dancefloor and a unique magnolia fragrance woven throughout the events, leaving an unforgettable sensory impression.

Rounding out the extraordinary lineup are talents who bring diverse sonic textures. Monty Kiddo joins Bux, bringing his blend of disco, funk, French touches, UKG, and classic house. He is supported by New York-based talent Andrew Nak, ensuring a perfect mix of global influence and hometown flavor.

After years spent commanding major stages, Bastian Bux is now focusing on an intimate format where the true magic lies in the connection forged between the DJ and the crowd. On July 17th, that deeply personal experience arrives in New York for the very first time. If you appreciate house music the way this city taught the world to love it, this is a night you absolutely won’t want to miss.
