ATEEZ, P1Harmony, BTS: LA’s Epic Moments and Teasers
The inaugural 82WORLD: LA festival proved that when K-pop meets a truly passionate fanbase, the results are explosive. hello82’s debut event transformed the Los Angeles State Historic Park into a vibrant hub of music, connection, and unforgettable moments, drawing a reported 11,000 fans over two days.
The festival delivered a spectacular showcase, bringing together an incredible constellation of global talent. Headliners included the powerhouse groups ATEEZ and P1Harmony, alongside acts like 8TURN, AMPERS&ONE, xikers, GIRLSET, cosmosy, the J-pop sensations BE:FIRST, and the surprise addition of FiveALIVE. It was a true celebration of diverse sounds and shared enthusiasm.
The energy peaked on Sunday, dedicated entirely to ATEEZ and their massive fandom, ATINY. The event culminated in the “ATEEZ x TINY Island” programming, turning the park into a full day of ATZ content that ended with a massive concert from the three-time Billboard 200 chart-toppers.
But the magic of 82WORLD: LA extended far beyond the stages. The experience was meticulously crafted to foster interaction, allowing fans to share space far more often than at a typical concert. Between performances, attendees engaged in interactive fun, trading photocards with idols, participating in dance lessons, and exploring numerous merch booths and food trucks.
This fan-first approach is the heart of hello82, a philosophy rooted in the company’s founding by Jae Yoon Choi in 2018. The goal has always been to bridge the gap between K-pop acts and international audiences, not just as distributors of albums, but as creators of meaningful experiences.
Choi shared that 82WORLD: LA encapsulates everything the company has built since its inception. “While this may be the largest iteration we’ve held, at its core it still has the same goal as all of our events: creating memorable moments between artists and fans alike no matter where they are,” he stated. He emphasized that whether through fan spaces, live performances, or distribution achievements, the continuous challenge is to evolve the connection between fandom and the idols they love.
The success of the festival underscores how powerful shared experiences can be, establishing 82WORLD: LA not just as a concert series, but as a dynamic platform where the world of K-pop truly came alive for everyone involved.
