Steven Page is bringing his unique blend of musical wit and holiday spirit to the festivities with his new release, Steven’s Greetings. The album is packed with playful tunes, including a nod to his work on Murdoch Mysteries with his track Christmas in Toronto, alongside familiar hits like Everyone Can Sing at Christmas. Page also weaves in tracks from Barenaked Ladies, adding a touch of unexpected fun, such as Hanukkah Blessings and Blow Blow Thou Winter Wind. Fans can preorder Steven’s Greetings starting November 13th and catch Page on his Steven’s Greetings tour dates.

Meanwhile, Alanis Morissette is offering a beautifully reflective collection, Good Weather for Immaculate Conception. This album features a delightful mix of covers and original arrangements, including timeless classics like John and Yoko’s Happy Xmas (War Is Over) and Joni Mitchell’s River. Morissette has also shared her heartfelt version of the carol Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, which features collaborations with fellow artists Brandi Carlile and Steve Martin.

Steven Page’s tour schedule promises plenty of opportunities to celebrate the music across the country, with dates stretching from St Catharines, ON, to Toronto, ON, and continuing through the winter months. These dates offer fans a chance to experience the magic of the new holiday music live.

Alanis Morissette’s album is a masterclass in seasonal sentiment, offering both familiar comfort and fresh interpretations of holiday traditions. It stands as a testament to the enduring power of music to connect us, whether we are singing about peace, love, or simply the joy of the season.
