Friday night in San Jose took an unexpected and serious turn as emergency crews were called to an outdoor music event, dealing with a wave of medical emergencies. In response to the calls, the San José Fire Department immediately activated an Ambulance Task Force, deploying two additional advanced life support fire units and a Battalion Chief to manage the complex situation and provide necessary medical support. A total of 14 ambulances were dispatched to the scene, resulting in 14 patients being transported to local hospitals.
While the precise cause of the medical issues was not disclosed by authorities, San Jose police later clarified that the attendees were being treated for “suspected alcohol intoxication and drug-related issues.” No arrests were made in connection with the incidents.
